Being present always

Forget the past, forget the future, there is always and only the present. Fret not. I'am not saying to forget our roots or even fail to plan ahead, but really, perhaps more accurately, don't dwell or be constraint by your past and refrain from having unnecessary anxiety of the unknown future and live your life fully in the present.

-

Imagine you are driving down the highway of your life. It doesn't really make much sense if you are guiding yourself ahead looking at the rear windscreen mirror, neither does it make any sense by looking at the GPS for the conditions ahead all the time. You probably crash into something sooner than you think.

-

You have the power to transform your life. However, that space doesn't occur in the past which is already over and neither is it in the future, which is yet to arrive. The power is now, your thoughts and actions now. Every choice that you made, every word that you say changes the things that will occur in the next moment. Thus, be fully present at every moment of your life. Allow the past to take over you, very soon, you will find every moment of your life to be exactly the same as that of the past. Having too much anxiety towards the future and you will miss out the things that's happening around you at this particular moment.

-

Very often, we are so consumed by our past or future that we missed out the things around us. We were never really fully present to our conversations, our gatherings, the sight and sounds, the experiences that life brings to us at every moment in our life. We are probably busy dealing (in our mind), thinking of things that have happened or about to take place in our life.

-

Though we usually take things for granted, thinking that things will pretty much remain status quo, the truth is that you will never really know when is the last time that you might be able to do something. If you do not start living in the present now, you might just miss that important "last" time which absolutely didn't look like the last when you did it.

Start being fully present and acknowledge every moment of your life. Participate fully in all the experiences and situations that life brings you. Focus, concentrate and live life to the fullest!
