What I want for my birthday!

For those of you who know me very well, you would probably know what I want for my birthday over the past few years hasn't really changed. Yesh, chuckle, smile, laugh...and indeed, it has remained unchanged, somehow. *sad* hahahaha.

-

Well, that aside, there is a list of things that has somehow accumulated over the past 1 year that I would need (want in fact, I don't need them for survival)

-

1. I need a dress watch. However I also need a sports watch for all my outdoor activities like blading, swimming, running etc. Thus, I conclude that if there's a watch that can function both as a dress and a sports watch, that's what i'am looking for.

-

2. I need a new headset for my O2mini. I want my music when I'am travelling from pt a to pt b. Been deprived of it since the wire of the old set has frayed.

-

3. I need a screen protector for my laptop. Though I don't plan to use it more than 3 years (will get another free one from singnet after the 3 years contract expire in late 2008)

-

4. I need a laptop bag for my laptop. (Somehow free laptop don't come with laptop bag. wat der)

-

5. I need a new sets of wheels for my blades. (Damned alvin for having 84mm wheels...too bad mine only can accomodate up to 80mm). Hmm...might as well change that to a new set of blades then.

-

6. I need a set of protective gears from Salomon for blading. (Don't know how long more I can rely on my sis's guards)

-

I think that's about it for now. Seriously, I think I would be lucky to get 2 out of the 6 items here. :)

Priority Queue

Was pleasantly surprised today when I went groceries shopping for my picnic items before watching "ballet under the stars" at Fort Canning (Well, that would be another blog entry, if I choose to write something on it)

-

Priority Queue is probably something which is not new to you. You would have seen it when you go clubbing, buying a movie ticket, collecting a ticket from SISTIC etc

-

But Priority Queue at a supermarket, hey, that's something new...well...at least to me. Well, its something that you would really welcome at the supermarket when even the express lane seems to crawl like a normal one. Though frankly speaking, I'am not too sure how long this lane would remain "priority" as compared to the rest. Simply put, its gonna to be a matter of time when everyone get their hand on a POSBank "everyday" card and with only 1 such "priority lane" in Carrefour Plaza Singapura, i'am not sure whether it would really be "priority" in time to come. Well, at least, that's what i'am already seeing at GV cinemas where the so called "priority" Visa cardholders ain't getting their tickets anyway faster than the other "non-priority" Master/AMEX cardholders.

-

I supposed I would just have to do more groceries shopping for the time being and enjoy being given "priority". Pretty much what I want in life, isn't it? (Especially going out to those who did not want to give me priority...lol)

Salsa Revisited

Just went back salsaing at hardrock cafe after a break of nearly 3 months...hmm...have it been that long already? I think so...3 months, that would make my last visit to salsa in April or May...I think that's quite accurate.

-

Really had fun last nite! It was nice seeing so many old faces there earlier, it was nice to relive the lifestyle that I had for a good part of last year and it was nice to dance after such a long break. Thanks to all those that I have danced with earlier...hopefully I didn't use too much force or twisted your arms or something...lol. Do forgive me if I had somehow did that. :P

-

The most important is still about having fun and I really did. Nothing beats having fun. I probably had it too serious in the past and missed out on all the fun parts. :) I supposed its never too late to find out, isn't it?

-

Well, for the newly initiated, you can find great music and a great crowd in hardrock cafe every thursday. Do go down and enjoy yourself. That matters more than anything.

Do things right, or Do the right things. Which one is more right?
